Homeslice

Yesterday my sister from another mister (R) and I passed by Mandarin when we spotted an adorable tiny pizza restaurant called Homeslice.

We went inside and decided to have dinner.Their staff was beyond friendly and showed us a small but cozy bed style lounge private sitting area on the top floor where you can have a blast and half with your friends!

We sat downstairs and got our menus, now knowing me I have to ALWAYS ask what the most popular item on the menu is ALWAYS. Our waitress was called Elinda if am not mistaken recommended the Toscana pizza which had fresh pesto and mozzarella cheese.

TA DA........

We ordered that, the truffle pizza, shroom pizza and pepperoni. My favorite was the truffle pizza and  pepperoni, both having strong flavors and depth. The Toscana was a bit of a let down personally because i didn't like the contrast of cold pesto and mozzarella on hot pizza. The shroom pizza needs some "jujjing up" maybe by adding fontina cheese or caramelized shallots.

Please note that we were the ONLY people in the restaurant and they made the exception of making 4 different toppings! So sweet

Loved the mini rolling pin that came with our bill!

Homeslice is located right next to Mandarin. Tel: 1842887
